This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the conduct expected of every customer, end-user and visitor of the Madisonville platform ("Service"). It is part of our Terms of Service; breach may result in content removal, account suspension or termination, and may be reported to law-enforcement authorities.

1. Lawful use

You must not use the Service to violate any law or regulation in any jurisdiction in which you operate, including consumer-protection, advertising, intellectual-property, sanctions, export-control and anti-money-laundering rules.

  • Content that incites or promotes terrorism, violent extremism, genocide or self-harm.
  • Hate speech or harassment targeting protected characteristics.
  • Doxxing, non-consensual intimate imagery, stalking or threatening communications.
  • Material that infringes third-party copyright, trademarks, trade secrets or privacy rights.

3. Prohibited goods and services

  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives and equipment designed to circumvent law-enforcement.
  • Illegal drugs, prescription medication without proper authorisation, dangerous substances.
  • Counterfeit, stolen or recalled goods.

  • Gambling, lotteries or financial products sold without the required licences.

4. Platform abuse

  • No malware, ransomware, spyware, cryptominers or other malicious code.
  • No probing, scanning, penetration testing or load testing of our systems without written permission.
  • No bypassing rate limits, plan limits or technical restrictions, including credit usage controls.
  • No reverse engineering, scraping at scale, or building a competing product from our APIs or model output.

5. AI assistant rules

  • Do not configure the AI assistant to misrepresent itself as a human where the law requires disclosure (for example certain consumer-protection regimes).
  • Do not use the assistant to generate content that breaches sections 2 or 3, or to give regulated professional advice (medical, legal, financial) without appropriate human oversight.
  • Do not feed the assistant personal data you do not have a lawful basis to share.

6. Security and reliability

You must promptly notify us at [email protected] if you discover a vulnerability or believe your account has been compromised. We follow a coordinated disclosure process and will not pursue good-faith researchers.

7. Reporting abuse

To report content or behaviour that breaches this AUP, email [email protected] with the URL or order reference and a description of the issue. We acknowledge reports within two working days.

8. Enforcement

We may, at our discretion and where reasonable to do so, remove offending content, throttle or suspend the account, terminate the agreement under the Terms of Service, and/or report the conduct to relevant authorities. Where the breach is curable we will, where practical, give notice and an opportunity to fix it before taking action.
